Is it October already?
Well, no. Not yet. But it’ll soon be, right? So let’s get ahead of schedule and talk about some October blog post ideas. The most famous celebration in October is Halloween, so get ready for a lot of Halloween-themed posts!
Let’s start!
1. Indoor Fall Activities
Winter is slowly coming. It’s getting colder. The days get shorter. That’s the time when we start staying more at home.
Do you have any good ideas about activities to do while at home? Activities you can do alone or with friends. Of course, it’s always better with friends, isn’t it?
2. Your Working Routine
What is your working routine? When do you work? Where do you work?
People get inspired when they hear others having a routine and a lot of times they want to follow it. So share your routine with the world! Your readers may want to follow it, too.
3. World Smile Day
October’s first Friday is celebrated as World Smile Day. Celebrate it by telling people why smiling is important in life. What are the benefits of it?
4. How To Skyrocket Your Career This Fall
There are a lot of ways you can use to boost your career. Seminars, conferences, etc. Have you heard anything good lately?
They may be about your industry or about self-improvement. For example, if you find a seminar on soft skills, it may not be about your career per se, but it’ll improve you, and this will help your career.
A lot of people would be grateful to you if you help them discover these resources.
5. Courses You Can Start
And what about courses? Do you know any good ones?
If you haven’t heard of anything good, take a look at Udemy or Skillshare. There are a lot of great courses there.
For example, if we’re talking about affiliate marketing, I’d definitely recommend Wealthy Affiliate. If we’re talking about soft skills, I’d recommend Charisma University.
6. Skills You Should Start To Learn
There are a few skills that are important to everyone no matter what’s their career. For example:

7. Movies About Your Industry
Have you watched any good movies about your industry? If yes, talk about them. And if not, find a few movies, watch them and then talk about them.
Movies about a specific industry are usually fun to watch for people in that field. Not only because it’s like there’s a secret code, but also because they usually find mistakes and/or stereotypes to laugh at.
8. Review The Books You’ve Read So Far In Autumn
How many books have you read so far in fall?

Everyone loves crafts. Some are better than this than others, though, so start with something simple. Something that doesn’t need any special tools to do it.
11. Best Halloween Costumes
Let’s start now with the Halloween ideas.
First of all… Halloween costumes. What are the best costumes you can find around? Take into account the price and how original they are.
Also, you may want to write about how they can make their own costume. Find a popular character and try to make the costume yourself. If you can create a video, too, so much the better.

35. Creativity Tips
Sometimes we feel a little stuck. We can’t think of anything creative to do or write about. That’s normal. But there are always little things we can do or read that can get us unstuck. Do you know any of these?
- Quotes?
- Blogs?
- Tips?
- Books?
- Videos?
36. Quotes
I love quotes and that’s why I’ve already done a post with quotes for bloggers. Why don’t you do one, too?
Could be about your niche or inspirational quotes in general.
37. 101 Posts
Go back to the basics and write definition posts. For example, if you blog about art, then you can write about what art is.
Or you can go more personal and talk about what art means to you.
38. How You Started
Tell your own story. How did you get involved in this niche?

48. How To + Alphabet
How-to posts are just great. Everyone has Googled at least once in their life how to do something.
Go about it the fun way and write 26 how-to posts following this simple rule. The word after “how to” has to begin with a different letter. Go alphabetically. For example, if you blog about watches, here are some ideas:
- How to accessorise watches
- How to buy a watch – What you should be aware of
- How to compare watches
- How to design watches
If you have a problem with finding ideas, try Google autocomplete. For example, to find these ideas, I went to Google and I wrote: “how to watches”. Then I pressed space after the word “to”. You can get a few ideas while typing different letters there.
49. Top 10 Recommended Products In Your Industry
Another useful type of posts is lists. Find the top 10 must things in your industry and recommend them.
Take into account:
1. Price
2. Quality
3. Do beginners really need this?
They don’t have to be tangible; they can be digital, too. Just do your research and recommend only the best of the best. If the price is too high for the best of them, go with tiers.
“If someone can spend up to $50 for something, then they should get this product. If they can spend up to $200, they should take that…”
